Recreation board meeting notes: 25.02.03

Chair: Chris Rooney

• Council of Aging newsletter passed around.

• Donation from someone for a scholarship for a deserving child in memorial of a Quincy resident. 

• Received $33,000 in Shannon grant; must be used by end of November.

• 25 participants in Elk Group Shoot. Quincy person won district and state contest.

• Basketball winter program ongoing. 

• Adult volleyball ends this week, looking to do another session.

• Adult basketball ending next week. Interested in doing another session in March.

• Instructional Ice has 120 participants; ending soon

• Ice Skating Rink will end 2/22/25. Participation is great at night. 3 - 5 pm is busy and after 5 pm has a lot of families coming down.
