Special ENC Welcome Center Community Meeting September 12

At our request, state authorities will host a community meeting regarding its contract with Eastern Nazarene College to operate a migrant welcome center on its campus at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, in the auditorium of Central Middle School on Hancock Street.

Officials from the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities, the Massachusetts Office for Refugees and Immigrants, as well as college representatives, will be in attendance to provide details of the operation and answer questions from community members. 

While the City had no role in the planning or approval of this operation, please know that we are working to ensure that your questions and concerns are addressed. We are both hopeful that this meeting will be of great help to that extent.
